Diy mdf cnc machine 36x22. This instructable is more of a documentation of how i built my cnc and is not to be mistaken as a tutorial for buidling a cnc the initial target of my build wa. Supplied as a kit for home assembly. This is a not so little summary of the build of my homemade cnc router aka the overpass.

This is my first instructable so maybe there. This design has been made by one of my friend and i have built one exactly like his. Cnc routers are the cnc machines of choice for woodworkers and they make an amazing addition to any woodworking shop. Yeah i own a cnc router that can cut 4 x8 sheets of plywood and i have to say that it would be good for making a jig fixture but there s no advantage to using cnc unless your heart is set.

So we currently have 2 machines like this one. Sheetcnc is a very large 3 axis water cooled cnc routing milling machine which cuts full size plywood mdf plastic and foam sheets. For example fine inlay work becomes possible.
